Why Do I Need NIN?
The Nigerian Government under statutory law requires all Nigerian Citizens, domiciled domestically or internationally to enrol for a NIN by providing the Government (NIMC) with personal ID data.
What Forms of Personal ID Will I Be Providing To NIMC At My Appointment?
You will need your Nigerian International Passport and/or Birth Certificate as a form of Identification that you are a Nigerian. For Children without Nigerian Passports, the parent's Nigerian passport and their Birth Certificate is fine. At the appointment, your signature, a portrait photo, and all ten fingerprints will be captured.
Who Issues the NIN Number?
Once NIMC has received your ID Data via a secure VPN, NIMC will provide a NIN directly to you via email.
Do I Need Any Other Forms of ID When I Attend My Appointment?
Yes, You will need your Nigerian International Passport and/or Birth Certificate as a form of Identification that you are a Nigerian. For Children without Nigerian Passports, the parent's Nigerian passport and their Birth Certificate is fine. How Long Will My Enrolment Take?
Allow 15 minutes per person for your enrolment to complete all three ID collection and biometric procedures.

Can I Change My Appointment Time?
You can book an appointment 21 days in advance, and can change the appointment day/time once without cost before attending. Cancellation is not allowed.
What Happens If I Miss My Appointment Time?
You will need to re book your appointment day/time by sending an email to support@ninbooking.com and a Customer Support Officer will assist. This is only allowed once without any cost.

How Do I Make Appointment For My Less Than 16Yr Old Child?
To make an appointment for a child (less than 16yrs), the child's parent /guardian must have NIN and this must be provided during enrolment of the child.
Can I Make Appointment For Multiple Persons?
Every person making an appointment will need to book and pay for their appointment separately.
